The Silent Patient

In my Typography II course, we were asked to redesign a book cover of a novel of our choice. The catch was, we had to do so using only type and one color besides black or white.

I chose The Silent Patient, which is a murder-mystery about a women who allegedly shoots her husband, but then refuses to speak afterwards and is put in a mental institution to try to encourage her to talk again.

The gun iconography is made out the letters L, P, and T fixed together.
